🥟 Chao-Down #351 Microsoft open-sources GraphRAG, Figma in hot water over AI design feature, Perplexity faces accusations from news outlets over plagiarism and unethical web scraping
Plus, a look at how AI video games can help better understand the human mind.
For those following my work outside of this newsletter, my team and I recently open-sourced our latest research GraphRAG, an end-to-end AI system leveraging knowledge graphs and large language models on private datasets.
For those building AI applications, you’ve probably encountered the limitations of retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and its inability to draw connections between multiple sources of documents. GraphRAG seeks to address this by leveraging graph machine learning to provide useful knowledge artifacts for an LLM to use.
It’s early innings for all things knowledge graphs and we’re excited to see what the community builds with GraphRAG.
Check out our announcement video below and the community reception over at HackerNews!
