For those stuck trying to figure out what to do next in their favorite video games, NVIDIA has the answer for you.
In a recent demo, the chipmaker showed off its own AI assistant G-Assist dedicated to gamers. From giving advice on how to min/max your character in your favorite RPGs to getting help on how to progress in a level, G-Assist uses its understanding of the screen plus its own knowledge base to give contextually relevant responses to the gamer.
G-Assist can even help optimize your PC setup, finding the right balance of frames per second and GPU utilization for your hardware.
Funny enough, G-Assist began as an April Fool’s prank back in 2017 that joked about an AI playing your game while you went to check on a pizza delivery. Now that joke is becoming a reality. Even Microsoft during their recent Build conference showed off an AI Copilot that could help a user play Minecraft.
