Is OpenAI’s “Sky” voice in ChatGPT too similar to Scarlett Johansson? Check out my breakdown of the story below.

Interestingly since posting the video, Scarlett Johansson took to social media and penned an exposé of how OpenAI had approached her to be the starring voice for their chatbot, but she refused. To her surprise, OpenAI released the “Sky” voice anyway which in Johannson’s words sounded ‘“eerily similar” to her own.

As a measure, OpenAI has since taken down “Sky” and released this blog post on how they selected the voices for their chatbot. But is it too little too late?
